About LinkZorg

LinkZorg connects Amsterdam's Emergency Room team to local caregivers, making it easier to guide patients in vulnerable situations to medical and social services when they leave the hospital.

Our Mission

We believe that every patient deserves comprehensive care, and that care providers should have easy access to all available resources. By creating a trusted platform for resource connection and care planning, we aim to improve the well-being of Amsterdam's unhoused, undocumented, and uninsured residents. We aim to empower patients and hospital workers, and to support Amsterdam's care network.

Our Best Qualities

The LinkZorg platform allows Emergency Room staff to:

  • Search for resources based on patient needs
  • Create customized care plans
  • Generate printable resource guides for patients
  • Connect to the local care network
  • Contribute to a growing database of community resources

Who made this?

This platform is the product of an intensive design and data collection process by designers Mihaela Chiselită, Daniel Klein, and Amanda Wee at Hoogeschool van Amsterdam, Master of Digital Design.
We produced the database with the assistance of generative artificial intelligence, guided by human compassion and creativity.
The OLVG Oost Emergency Department in collaboration with MDD initiated the project premise in the spring 2025 semester.
Thank you to Dr. Neils van der Naald and Marije de Haas, project advisors, and to our mentors at design agency Greenberry.
